We were commissioned to design and install a new 11-camera CCTV system for Ballynahinch High School, providing comprehensive coverage to previously unmonitored areas such as hallways and stairwells. The school campus is a large and complex building, requiring careful routing of cabling through suspended ceilings, with wall-mounted conduit used where solid walls prevented ceiling access.
A key consideration for this project was minimizing disruption to students and staff. To achieve this, we coordinated closely with senior management to carry out all installation work over a weekend, ensuring the school remained fully operational during the week.
All cabling was terminated in the central communications room, where a 16-channel NVR was installed. We liaised with the school’s IT department throughout the process to ensure the system was fully integrated and operational, delivering a robust, reliable, and future-proof security solution for the campus.
