A Belfast based property management company contacted us regarding ongoing satellite issues in a 12-apartment residential block in East Belfast. Residents were experiencing intermittent signal problems, and it had recently become apparent that the existing communal system was incompatible with SKY Q, preventing tenants from upgrading their setups.
Following a site survey and system assessment, we recommended a full replacement of the communal satellite system. After removal of all existing equipment, a new satellite dish was installed at roofline level on the rear of the three-storey block, requiring specialist access equipment to reach the location safely and efficiently.
New cabling was routed to the communications cabinet, where we installed DSCR switches to distribute both the Freeview and SKY signals to all apartments. Each connection point was tested thoroughly to ensure full operational performance and signal reliability.
The completed system provides an up-to-date, robust, and fully functional communal satellite solution, restoring resident satisfaction and enabling all apartments to access the latest SKY Q services.
