This customer contacted us following the handover of their newly built home. From the outset, reliable high-speed connectivity throughout the property was a key priority, and the build had been specified with Cat6 data cabling installed to multiple locations around the house, all terminating back to a central utility room cupboard.

We were engaged to carry out a full site survey to assess the customer’s requirements and design a network solution to suit the property. Due to the construction of the home, which featured solid block internal walls, we recommended and deployed three ceiling-mounted WiFi access points to ensure strong, consistent wireless coverage throughout the entire house.

As part of the installation, we supplied and installed a 12U network cabinet housing 48-port patch panels and a rack-mounted PoE switch, providing a clean, organised and future-proof network core. In addition, the customer requested the installation of a new 65-inch QLED television, which we professionally wall-mounted in the main living area.

Upon completion, full WiFi coverage was achieved across the home, with over 30 wall-mounted Ethernet outlets tested, labelled and fully operational. The customer was extremely pleased with the finished installation and the overall performance of the network.
