The customer approached Uplink Systems with a detailed brief: they wanted to receive standard Freeview channels as well as Southern Irish channels (Saorview) to ensure uninterrupted coverage of key broadcasts, such as rugby matches. They also requested that no external aerial be visible on the property. Additionally, the customer needed two new televisions professionally wall-mounted, and they were experiencing poor WiFi coverage in the rear extension of the home.

After conducting comprehensive signal tests, we confirmed that both Freeview and Saorview signals could be achieved using mast-head amplification. The dual aerial installation was completed discreetly within the loft, meeting the customer’s requirement for a clean, external-aerial-free finish.
We then installed the two new televisions using specialist wall mounts, ensuring a secure, neat installation. To resolve the WiFi issue, we deployed an in-wall dual-band wireless access point, providing reliable connectivity throughout the entire home.

Upon completion, the customer was able to access over 200 channels, including Saorview directly from the south, with excellent signal quality. Combined with the wall-mounted televisions and full home WiFi coverage, the result was a complete entertainment and connectivity solution, delivered seamlessly and to the customer’s exact specifications.
